Rules For Role-playing

Write up an actual storyline and rule set about the LARP you want to create. If you want it to work, you;'ll need to make it as specific as you can. Set rules about combat system, magic (if you decide to have any at all.) Also, you'll need to obtain weapons. You'll have to decide if people are going to make their own foam boffer swords or purchase official latex swords from stores.

The combat system can be a very simple two hit system. If you get hit in the arm, you lose the arm, if you get hit in the leg, you lose the leg. Losing two limbs is death etc etc.

There are alot to consider when creating your own LARP. Once you have a system put in place, all you have to do is convince people to join and play it.


@dondi, don't be jealous just because other people are using their imagination for something. Just because you are socially inept doesn't mean everyone else is.

Live action role play? Thats possible over a computer? Hmm...well to admit it, I've heard of stuff like this before- its kind of like a...video game type of deal, am i right? Oh yeah, I'm very familiar with this since my friend was a part of a Star Wars LARP that I watched a few times, so that was kind of cool, and the forc (magic) system was rather advanced, as was the armour and weaponry used in the game.
